PRAY FOR SLEEP

Pray for Sleep, founded in 2017 by Reno Houston and Hayden Kissler in Columbus, Ohio, has been making waves in the music scene with their unique sound and dedication to mental health awareness. The band gained recognition early on with the release of their self-titled EP and Behind Our Eyes LP. A defining moment came in 2018 when they performed at Rock on the Range the same day they were supposed to graduate high school.

Pray for Sleep has always been passionate about mental health advocacy. Through their Scream Back Campaign, they visited Ohio high schools to perform and speak openly about mental health. Their efforts reached a national stage later that year when they participated in Chester Bennington’s 320 Festival, honoring his legacy and supporting those struggling with mental health challenges.

Despite the challenges of 2020, the band continued to push forward. They used the downtime to write new material and build connections that would help elevate their music. With the support of industry veterans Bob Marlette and Ryan Williams, they realized their dream of recording new tracks.

In 2022, Pray for Sleep invited bassist Stefan Orozco to join them in Los Angeles to record new music and officially become part of the band. Around the same time, they played the Inkarceration Festival, further solidifying their presence in the music scene.

In 2024, the band welcomed their newest member, vocalist Keegan Charlton, and began preparing to release an exciting lineup of new songs. Their latest single, "Home," is now available on all streaming platforms.
